Deer Hill

This is a waymarked forestry walk that route leads you through woodland and open moorland dotted with bright rhododendrons to the summit of Cnoc nan Ghabar. Once at the top you can enjoy the magnificent panorama over Carradale Glen, Kilbrannan Sound, Ailsa Craig and Arran. This is called Deer Hill you can see red, roe, fallow and sika deer, as well as moorland birds amongst the heather, and golden eagles and hen harriers overhead.
The starting point is at Port na Storm car park, Carradale.
