Dunaverty Beach
Dunaverty Beach runs along a crescent-shaped bay on the southeast of the Mull of Kintyre just past the village of Southend. The Bay has a lovely sandy beach along which a caravan park is stationed. As well as a caravan park overlooking the west side, the bay is watched over by the nearby Dunaverty Rock which was the site of a historical castle and massacre.
